The Cost of Trust...
The Cost of Trust...
Trust...
Kabhi socha hai... trust break hone se itna dard kyu hota hai?
Shayad isliye...
because we never trust people with expectations.
Hum unse perfect hone ki umeed nahi rakhte.
Hum unse har baat me agree karne ki umeed nahi rakhte.
Hum bas itna believe karte hain...
ki they will never misuse the place they have in our life.
But life...
Life is unpredictable.
Kab kaun badal jaye...
Kab words sirf words bankar reh jaye...
Aur kab actions reality dikha de...
No one knows.
The most painful thing isn't that people leave.
People leave...
People change...
People move on...
That's a part of life.
The real pain starts when the person you trusted the most becomes the reason you stop trusting everyone else.
And that's scary.Because one person's actions slowly change your entire perspective.
You start reading between the lines.
You overthink every conversation.
You question every promise.
Not because you want to...But because someone taught you that even the purest intentions can be taken for granted.
Sometimes I wonder...Did they really never care?
Or...
Did they care only until it was convenient?
Maybe we'll never get that answer. And honestly...Not every question deserves an answer. Some people enter our lives only to teach us one lesson... Never confuse closeness with loyalty. Because being available doesn't mean someone values you. Being nice doesn't mean someone is genuine. And being around you doesn't mean they're standing with you.
Still...
I don't regret trusting people.
Because trust reflects my character...
Not theirs.
If someone chooses to break it...
It says everything about them...
And nothing about me.
Life goes on.
People change.
Situations change.
But one thing I've learned...
Trust is precious.
Once it's broken...
It may be forgiven.
But somewhere deep inside...
It never returns in the same way again.
Maybe that's the price of having a genuine heart...
You don't fear losing people...
You fear losing the ability to trust again.
